| 700 – 749 | Good | Approvals likely; rates may be slightly higher. |
| 650 – 699 | Fair | Limited options; consider improving your score first. |
| 300 – 649 | Needs work | Focus on clearing dues; secured loans remain an option. |

What is a good credit score?
On the CIBIL scale of 300–900, a score of 750 or above is considered good and helps you get faster approvals and lower interest rates.
Does checking my own score lower it?
No. Checking your own score is a soft enquiry. Only lender enquiries made when you apply for credit are hard enquiries.
How often is my score updated?
Lenders report to credit bureaus every month, so your score can change every 30–45 days.
Can I get a loan with a low score?
Yes, but options are limited and usually more expensive. Secured loans such as gold loans don't depend on your score. Our advisors can suggest the best route.
